Feb 28 Chapel Song Agenda

Hi Everyone,
We are scheduled for chapel this Wednesday.  Please listen to the songs and be familiar with them and their mappings

New Songs to Practice

So here's the songs to currently work on...

Your Presence is Heaven to Me   Key of D

Keys, try and figure out that intro. Also in the second verse, listen to what the keys are doing.
Percussion - listen to what they do in this song.
E. Guitar - you can hear a simple line in the chorus...  The in the bridge, big bar chords



Here For You (We Welcome You)   Key of E
Keys, you're already aware of some of the parts in this song.  Listen for them here
 - synth in the verses
 - choir/voices in the pre-chorus
 - piano riff in the chorus and when they build the song up again after its done
 - big build into the chorus - scale up
Bass - listen how he slides up in the verses and the picking patterns for the rest of the song
E. Guitar - has parts all over the place  :-)

Chapel Feb. 7 Song Agenda

Hi everyone,
Super practice yesterday!  You all sounded fantastic - Mr. Anger wasn't kidding.  I think we could have prepped for an all worship chapel pretty easily.
Anyway, as we discussed/planned in practice, here's the songs for chapel this coming Wednesday:

Found in You   Key of D

  • Intro - full band and singers start with 'Ohs' right away
  • Verse 1 - quieter but big build to chorus
  • Chorus - Voices - melody only.  Band only hits chords
  • Instrumental - full band with 'ohs'
  • Verse 2 - full band, full harmonies.
  • Chorus - 2x - Full band, full harmonies & tambourine
  • Bridge - 2x- dialed back, first time through, building big 2nd time
  • Chorus - Only voices.  Band builds band into...
  • Chorus - everyone full on with tambourine
  • Outro - same as intro with 'ohs'

Deep Cries Out   Key of E   We really have to watch our tempo (keep it fast) in this one.  Bass, remember G# after every F# in this song
