Hi everyone,
Our next chapel will be Nov. 7th. Given our success at going over some of the new songs last week, I'd like to try and get the following new songs ready for next week's chapel:
Holding Nothing Back Key of G
God, I Look to You Key of G
Jesus We Love You Key of G (the one we didn't do last time)
Hi everyone!
Great practice this past Thursday! I feel like we're starting to play as a team as well - practice felt good on Thursday for all the right reasons. :-) Do you realize that with the songs we're comfortable with at this point we could do an hour long set for something like The Burn already?!? Any interest in that?
Anyway, we've got chapel this coming Wednesday and as discussed, we'll try and have better transitions between songs... here's our song agenda:
Deep Cries Key of E
Intro - Bass drum until everyone is clapping. Then Branden E.Guitar solo with big full band
Verse 1 - Only drums, bass and singers. Everyone else pull back until 'We're stirring...'

Come to the Altar Key of E

Bridge - 2 times, start quiet and build
Verse 1 - quiet, voices in unison
Chorus - voices in unison
Verse 2 - voices harmonize
Chorus - 2 times - hold E chord at the end.
Bridge - Satai starts like instrumental, and band builds like instrumental
Chorus
Jesus We Love You Key of G
I'll start on A. Guitar, band can join
Verse 1 - drums - just cymbal so we can keep time, Bass we need you here.
Chorus - mostly voices
Verse 2 - drums full beat, band everyone play

Hi Everybody,
Great practice last Thursday. We've got chapel on Wednesday! Please try to be at the school at 7 to help set up and get organized (new team, new IEM group for monitoring - don't forget your headphones)
I've attached the chord chart for Reckless Love for those of you who don't have it. The others you should have.

Instrumental - like the intro
Verse 2 - Full drums with instrument shots like we practice. Singers harmonizing

Bridge - 2 times - start quiet and build, like we practice
I have some old/new songs I think you'll like for us to start off the year. I could see that several of you are already looking for my posts - EXCELLENT!! Well, here ya go....
My desire, and I think the WORD that God put on my heart for our team this year is (don't laugh, as it would probably sound better if I said it than you just read it here)....
Next Level... or Level Up - if you're a gamer.
I believe God wants to take us to the Next Level this year.
...In our own worship,
....in relationship with Him,
....in leading others in worship,
....in playing and working together as a team
Some of you have heard this before, but I'm going to say it again because I believe it even more now: When you do something with your whole heart, soul, mind, and strength - things change. God notices. People notice. The enemy notices.... and trembles. If we as a team can apply our hearts, souls, minds, and strength to worship this year, it will be NEXT LEVEL. Trust me. :-)
That said, here's a list of songs to listen to (new ones first). I've told Mr. D and Mr. S that we can take a chapel in the next week or two with songs we know....
