Song Agenda for Chapel Jan. 16th

Hi Everyone!

Worship is about faith.  A lot of times we end up singing what others 'make' us sing in church, or in chapel.  How can that be from the heart?  I wont deny, it absolutely takes extra effort on the part of everyone who had no choice in the songs in a church or chapel service to sing those words/play those songs like they mean it.

I want to commend you all for doing just that.  For singing and playing with everything you have - not because you had to, but because you want to.  That makes God happy.  Its never perfect - if our expectation are set for perfection, we're bound to be disappointed.  Its about heart.

I'm praying that each of you will get your own personal 'word' or 'experience' from God.  Once God becomes REAL to you personally, everything changes.  Sometimes we lose that.  I certainly have, and I want it back.  Will you join with me Wednesday morning as we sing/play together... for God and to God?

Here's the songs:

Ready for Another Year!?!

I'm so excited!!!

Y'all ready for another year of worship team?

I have some old/new songs I think you'll like for us to start off the year.  I could see that several of you are already looking for my posts - EXCELLENT!!  Well, here ya go....

My desire, and I think the WORD that God put on my heart for our team this year is (don't laugh, as it would probably sound better if I said it than you just read it here)....

Next Level... or Level Up - if you're a gamer.

I believe God wants to take us to the Next Level this year.
...In our own worship,
     ....in relationship with Him,
         ....in leading others in worship,
....in playing and working together as a team

Some of you have heard this before, but I'm going to say it again because I believe it even more now:  When you do something with your whole heart, soul, mind, and strength - things change.  God notices.  People notice.  The enemy notices.... and trembles.  If we as a team can apply our hearts, souls, minds, and strength to worship this year, it will be NEXT LEVEL.  Trust me.  :-)

That said,  here's a list of songs to listen to (new ones first).  I've told Mr. D and Mr. S that we can take a chapel in the next week or two with songs we know....
